Today we complete our free photoshop video tutorial showing how we turned that badly exposed RAW file into a bright, colourful and interesting seascape. In this show we do some dodging and burning using a bitmap layer and then we use a curves layer with overlay blending mode to darken the corners as a vignette. Finally we use a neat technique for adding a lens flare to the image without the filter making a destructive edit.

Today we start a brand new tutorial showing how I turned a very challenging exposure into a very pleasing seascape with rich blue, purple and yellow tones using Adobe Lightroom and then Photoshop. In this episode I use colour balance and graduated filters to add the colour toning and some sky darkening. I also bring back detail in the very light and dark regions by using the fill light and recovery sliders.

Today's Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3 video tutorial shows how to create the attractive high key, high contrast, bright colour portrait style that's so fashionable at the moment with companies like Venture. In this one chapter tutorial I used Photoshop CS5 to produce the effect and then show how to do the same thing using Lightroom 3. These steps work equally well in earlier versions of Photoshop as far back as CS and Lightroom 2.
