In chapter 5 or out free Nik Color Efex Pro 4 tutorial we take a look at the Pro Contrast filter. This isn't a new filter but it does give fantastic control over the contrast and areas of brightness in your image.
Throughout the course of this tutorial we'll take a single image from the original RAW through to a finished image. This video is one part of a multi-part free video tutorial and review. You can find the other parts at photowalkthrough.com/tutorial23.
In this final chapter of Tutorial 1 we finish off our image of Weston-super-mare with a vignette, some extra steps to even up the light in the sky and add some final brightness and contrast adjustments.
Today we get around to some selective editing using Lightzone before taking the picture back into Lightroom for some colour and contrast work. We also have a new technique segment about reflected light and a couple more short photoshop express quicktips.
Part 3 of our Flower Triptych tutorial sees us finish the first of our three flowers by examining our image, creating a plan and then executing it. We do some selective darkening, add some contrast and selective lightening as well as selective sharpening and we remove a small colour cast.
Here we are again, tutorial 3 of our Distorted Tree image. This time I talk a little bit about why I like the Holga style and show you some images from a Holga then go on to work on the sky of my image and generally increase the contrast.
